Empowering underserved young adults ages 18–25 by expanding access to CDL career opportunities, mentorship, life skills, and guidance for long-term success.

To empower underserved young adults ages 18 to 25 by removing barriers to obtaining a Commercial Driver's License, while providing mentorship, life skills, and guidance that inspire confident decision-making, personal growth, and long-term career success.
For many young adults, the desire to build a successful career is there—but the pathway may not always be clear or accessible. Training costs, limited resources, lack of mentorship, and uncertainty about career options can become significant barriers.
The NextLane Foundation exists to help bridge that gap.

The NextLane Foundation combines career-access support with mentorship and practical development to help young adults prepare for opportunities both on and off the road.
Our program focuses on four areas:
CDL training assistance, mentorship, life skills, and career guidance.
Creating measurable outcomes in career access, mentorship, employment readiness, and personal development.
Expanding pathways to CDL training and career opportunities.
Preparing young adults to pursue professional opportunities with confidence.
Providing guidance, encouragement, accountability, and positive support.
Encouraging personal growth, responsible decision-making, and career stability.
Our goal is not simply to help participants enter training, but to help them develop the skills, support, and confidence needed to build sustainable futures.
The NextLane Foundation focuses on underserved young adults who are ready to pursue a productive career path but may need financial assistance, mentorship, life skills, guidance, or additional support to move forward.
We help participants identify barriers, explore CDL career opportunities, and connect with resources and support designed to help them take their next step.

A simple pathway from opportunity to career.

We learn about each participant’s goals, needs, barriers, and career interests.

Participants receive guidance, mentorship, life-skills support, and assistance navigating CDL training opportunities.

Participants work toward completing training, pursuing employment opportunities, and building long-term career success.
The NextLane Foundation welcomes partnerships with organizations and individuals committed to expanding career opportunities for young adults.
We are seeking relationships with foundations, businesses, employers, workforce organizations, community partners, mentors, and supporters who believe in creating pathways to sustainable careers.
Together, we can help young adults move from potential to preparation—and from preparation to opportunity.
